Glupp Kingdom: ‘Ummm, Brave priest, yuz in der Mountain? Seeing a thing here.’
Kingdom: ‘Agnokh is. Where?’
Glupp gestures toward the hearth.
Agnokh strides in and examines the area.
Glupp whispers to you, ‘The flames showing things. Nature things, fighting…
Glupp whispers ‘seen der eagle, der bear, huge bear…’
You whisper ‘It sounds like the spirits of our peoples are trying to reach or speak to you,
goblinkin.’
You say ‘Glorious Raven, show us what we must see.’
Glupp creeps forward once more, stirring the embers to stoke the flames.
Glupp whispers ‘Maybe Glupp just hungry….seeing things.’
You say ‘Agnokh will only provide nourishment if asked. The denial of sustenance may aid the
vision.’
Glupp clutches his stomach as it grumbles loudly.
Glupp says ‘Maybe Glupp too hungry.’
Agnokh nods passively, ‘Maybe indeed. Would Glupp like to feel nourished?’
Glupp perks up quickly.
Glupp says ‘Yuz hear dat?!’
Agnokh opens his head to different parts of the cavern and then shakes it slowly in the negative.
Glupp holds a hand up to his ear toward each exit, listening carefully as his stomach growls once
more.
Glupp says (to You) ‘Stomach too loud, can’t hear. Yuh, take der food now.’
Agnokh whispers a brief prayer and waves his hand across Glupp’s vision.
Glupp is filled with a divine nourishment.
Glupp says (to You) ‘Yuh, better… can listen. shh…..’
Glupp says ‘Just hungry mez guess.’
Glupp shrugs.
Agnokh folds his arms within his robes and closes his eyes, listening.
You say ‘Sometimes visions come in multiple parts, or want you to go elsewhere to continue it.
Explore that feeling.’
Glupp says ‘Hmm’
Glupp nods as he stares into the hearth once more.
You say ‘Agnokh suggests telling the King of the huge bear. May know what it means.’
Glupp nods.
Glupp says ‘Yuh. big bear, and eagle snatched a snake in der flames.’
You say ‘Anything else?’
Glupp says ‘der bear was angry. Big roar, growing further away’
You say ‘Very interesting. Agnokh is new to the totem spirits, others may be quicker to know what it
means. Should we follow the roar?’
Glupp says ‘Maybe outside der cave? Bears like caves though…nut sure where der roar was.’
Glupp listens carefully, then moves back toward the hearth.
A Small Shop
The hollow space that has been cleared away for this shop is sparsely
lit, the light from the torches in the hall outside by far doing more to
illuminate the space, even from the narrow doorway, than the single candle
that is lit on a modest wood counter. A woven running carpet leads from the
doorway to the counter.
[Exits: south ]
Glupp Glopp is here.
An ancient ogress is here, bent over the counter and staring into a candleflame.
Glupp says (to an ancient ogress) ‘Yuz hear any bears?’
